Hey everyone! I just celebrated my 24th birthday yesterday and it feels like turning a new page in life, full of anticipation for the future. I am currently working in Toronto, Canada and really like this city, sincerely wishing to settle down here. My plan is to achieve this goal within the next 1 to 3 years. I realized the value of a Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) when chatting with friends recently! Without hesitation, I quickly opened an account and deposited the maximum of $53,597 at once. Now, this money is quietly resting in the bank's self-directed investment account, waiting for me to choose some good stocks to invest in.

When it comes to investing in stocks, I'm a bit nervous about it because safety comes first. Do any of you have any relatively secure stock recommendations for me? Or maybe I should pay more attention to mutual funds, as I heard they have relatively lower risks?
