Couple of quick things to kick us off here before you start SCREAMING like you LOVE TO DO:
1.Ouch. Hug me.
2.I bought at the wrong time.
3.I didn't invest money I wasn't ready to lose and I'm not emotional about volatility / downs with this investment.
4.I think Rivian is a great long term hold and that they're doing just about everything right given the circumstances.
Maximilian : Stop loss
egan1 : stop losses don't protect against bad dd
Super Putter Chong : Admit your mistake, suck it up, cut loss and move on. Don’t be a gambler and bag holder at the same time.
powerful Otter_mwi : Guh
Alexandria : Big ((((((Hug))))))) I am rather new to investing, less than a year so I know next to nothing. After reading and then reading some more Rivian was going to be one of my first stocks (Nvidia ended up being it) I loved Rivian and had such a good feeling about it. I understand why you did what you did. I bought some and sold it around a month later. The feeling had gone after I studied electric cars even more. I won’t touch Tesla for the same reasons. It’s only my personal thoughts and conclusions I have come too. I don’t believe electric cars are going to completely envelope the car market long term. I still check up on Rivian there still is a part of me that wants her to make it and for you I really hope she does.
