PaAg1378 : why will this week b a sell.off?
WOLFE (白狼) : Look at ur daily see the possibilities with bollinger set up.
OceansWave OP PaAg1378 : Well, most want to cash out their profits first.. store capital and go for a Christmas rally..
The market is also overbought…
ISTJ PaAg1378 : Taking profits, and re-enter during Santa Claus rally soon. That’s what fund managers are doing. If you’re a long term investor, no need to panic
OceansWave OP ISTJ : Not a financial advice as I am not an expert, but if I long term investor, I will wait for the lows when hit support and then buy more..
ISTJ OceansWave OP : Problem is, no one knows where the lows are. That’s why DCA is recommended to every novice investors, coz if you look at a longer timespan, the US stock market is always going upwards
OceansWave OP ISTJ : For the stocks I targeting, I selling Put contracts.. I expect when then reach to a certain level, they will be consolidating and trade sideways.. therefore selling puts I have advantage because time is on my side..
For Google I aim for it to drop to 126 - 127 and enter with strike price of 120.. past support is 120 and 127.. so it’s a safe entry… MSFT I expecting it to drop to 359 - 360.. because it’s a new high so I also don’t know how much they will fall to, that’s why I choose their last breakout price before they rallied up.. there is also a dividend day on 14th Dec..
Appl I wait for 186…
If they don’t hit the price I aim for I am still safe because I did not throw any money in.. there is still 2 weeks for this sell off before building up for the rally.. gonna be patient here and play some video games hahaha
ISTJ OceansWave OP : Good for you. But the reversal point could come above your strike price and you’ll miss the trend, at least you still get to keep the premium tho.
