USA quantum computing company D-Wave Quantum CEO Alan Baratz stated that NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun's views on quantum computing are "completely wrong." Previously, Huang Renxun's remarks about quantum computers needing at least 15 more years to be applied scared Wall Street, causing a significant drop in related stocks including D-Wave. Baratz mentioned that companies including MasterCard and Japan's NTT are currently using D-Wave's quantum computers in production, "not 30 years from now, not 20 years from now, not 15 years from now. But right now, today." Baratz said that while Huang Renxun's views might not be entirely wrong for the gate model quantum computers, they are 100% wrong for annealing quantum computers. "I would be happy to meet Huang Renxun at any time, anywhere to help him fill in these gaps."
