It seems profitable to create a situation where many people who are waiting for a pullback, especially institutional investors and hedge funds, hesitate to enter new positions, thus forcing them to buy helplessly. But...

I think it's a situation where it's more likely to be picked up as an opportunity rather than being swayed by selling from here, so professionals are likely to think that it's more profitable to push up to encourage buying... I'm just an individual investor (ordinary person) so I don't know.
