      Erik Herzfeld

      Erik Herzfeld is President and Portfolio Manager at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Erik had a decade of experience in Wall Street within the equity and foreign exchange/currency derivatives markets in New York and Asia. He served in quantitative research, trading and management roles with both Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan. He headed J.P. Morgan's Specialized Risk Trading (SRT) group which managed a $200 billion derivatives book out of Singapore. Erik is the creator of the Bloomberg-JP Morgan Asia Currency Index "ADXY" (FX basket).  He is fluent in Japanese.  His Master's thesis at MIT, "Static Replication of Interest Rate Contingent Claims," was supervised by thesis advisor Professor Andrew Lo.  Erik began his career in the investment industry in 1998, and holds FINRA Series 66.

      David Neubert
      CEO/CIO, Windshear Management

      David Neubert has over 30 years of investing experience, beginning with his time at Chemical Bank (now JPMorgan) where he participated in the credit officer training program before analyzing emerging market debt for equity transactions and trading emerging market debt derivatives. After that he began a career in the equity division of Morgan Stanley, starting in emerging markets derivatives and eventually becoming responsible for global portfolio trading and market making. In 1998 he was appointed Managing Director, at the time, the youngest at the firm. In addition to several roles in proprietary and customer trading, he also started the firm’s global-macro proprietary trading unit where he was co-head. David spent 2003-2005 at Lehman Brothers where he was head of equity division trading strategies and technology.
      After several media and fintech startups, David returned to trading at Scout Trading. He then went on to spend six years at Eagle Bay Family Office as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing $800mm in assets.
      David has a Master in Public Policy with a concentration in International Trade and Finance from Harvard’s Kennedy School. He graduated 7th in his class while receiving a B.A. with honors and a concentration in Math from Pitzer College.

      Gabe Kim, CFA manages Panda Fund II where he combines social media with his institutional equity investing experience to grow $$000’s into$$ MM’s alongside other like-minded investors. Prior to Panda Fund II, Gabe was a portfolio manager and equity research analyst at Wellington Management, where he helped manage a variety of institutional equity strategies. He grew his first Panda Fund from $2k to $1 MM, securing his parents’ retirement in the process. Gabe holds an MBA from The Wharton School and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology Program.
