How is Israel preparing for Iran's retaliatory attack?
Prime Minister Netanyahu called a meeting with senior defense officials shortly after Defense Minister Yoab Gallant held another meeting and told the prime minister what Israel could anticipate in retaliatory attacks by the Houthis in Iran, Hezbollah, and even Yemen.
Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said at a news conference on Sunday that Israel still doesn't know where the attacks will come from. However, he said that preparations are ready on all fronts and that they are prepared to act both offensively and defensively. Several images circulating on social media show Iron Dome missile defense system batteries being deployed and refilled across the country to reinforce air defenses in preparation for what Israel might come.
Also, in Israeli media, there is information that Shin Bet (Internal Security Service) established underground bunkers for Israeli government officials and distributed satellite phones to Israeli government officials in case the communication system was completely destroyed by some kind of attack. However, according to Israeli government officials, they are fully prepared and are doing everything they can to prepare for this attack, which could engulf the region in a widespread conflict.
