How to Increase the Success Rate of Getting IPO?

In Malaysia, an IPO can go through in either MainBoard, AceBoard, or even Leap Market depending on the company’s situation which includes the revenue, market size, etc. However, it is important to know the techniques to ballot the IPO to increase the chance of getting IPO at the same time managing properly the funds that we have. By using AGMO as an example, there are two categories of IPO which are BUMI and PUBLIC. Nonetheless, not every IPO will have the same allotment of shares and success rate as it will vary based on their calculation.

For example,
The offering price of AGMO IPO = RM0.26
If I have RM2000 of available funds in my bank account, I can subscribe to 7692 shares thus falling into TIER 5 (range of shares from 6000 – 10900). However, to fall into TIER 5, I am only required to subscribe to 6000 shares instead of 7692 shares, and hence, I can keep RM439.92 (1692 shares if fully subscribed) in my bank account instead of subscribing to the shares.
