The Learn Premium's Stock Analysis Template is divided into two major sections: Stock Analysis and Trade Planning.
Following this post, you will know why choose these categories to analyze and how to create your own trading plan utilizing the template.
In the Stock Analysis section, we utilize five categories:
01 Financial Analysis
Involves evaluating a company's financial health and growth ability through its financial reports for the latest quarter.
The key indicators include quarterly revenue, net profit, earnings per share(EPS), along with their YoY growth rates. If all of these values are lower than expected, it may indicate a bearish outlook, and you can mark a"Bearish" on this item, like this:
Additionally, we need also consider two other critical indicators - expected revenue and the company's debt and cash flow.

02 Growth Analysis
Examines a company's growth potential by analyzing the events that have improved its revenue and competitive advantages and core operating data. If these factors suggest a positive outlook, it gets marked as bullish.

03 Valuation Analysis
Evaluates a company’s market valuation, and if the company has good prospects but is currently overvalued, investors need to be cautious while investing.
Valuation analysis consists of two parts: the first part is based on stock price evaluation using PE/PB/PS ratios, and the second part involves assessing industry experts and institutions' current views on the stock.

04 Market Position Overview
By examining the distribution of positions, we can better understand the cost basis of investors holding the stock and predict potential resistance or support levels.

05 Technical Analysis
Technical analysis helps determine the current bullish or bearish situation and identify buying and selling points. We use three methods in the template: trend lines to identify trends, Chart and Candlestick patterns to track trends and reversal signals, and Overbought and oversold recognition through indicator sentiment.
