Arm Holdings, being the largest IPO last year, has garnered significant market attention. Throughout the entire IPO process, from pre-IPO bidding to IPO bidding and the subsequent announcement of the opening price, Nasdaq TotalView and NOII played a crucial role in providing transparent market information. This empowered investors with information to help predict potential opening prices in advance, enabling them to tap trading opportunities.
Ftigth : Have not noticed the NOII before. Will such kind of features be popular in the future?
dreamstocker : Can TotalView be applied in Quant? How can I access it in my API, want to try!
Baby putsomemusic : Noticed that there is JPM symbol in order book as well. What does it stand for? it also means order from nasdaq?
Tajikunfu : Why does the NOII data only stay for a few minutes? Every time it gone before i see. Where can I see the past data?
Nasdaq OP Baby putsomemusic : It depends. One possible scenario is the MPID, which stands for Market Participant Identifiers, indicating which institution the order is from.
Nasdaq OP Tajikunfu : NOII is only displayed for 5 minutes before the market opens, 10 minutes before it closes, and during IPO/halt auctions. During regular trading hours, due to continuous trading, you will not be able to see this data updated.
Nasdaq OP dreamstocker : Yes for sure. But for the API access, you may need to obtain authorization from Nasdaq. For specific details, please contact: dataapac@nasdaq.com.
