Hong Kong stocks opened higher in the morning after two consecutive days of losses. $Hang Seng Index (800000.HK)$ opened 13 points or 0.1% higher at 17,741. $Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (800100.HK)$ opened 8 points or 0.1% higher at 6,325. $Hang Seng TECH Index (800700.HK)$ opened 16 points or 0.4% higher at 3,638.

Electric car stocks $LI AUTO-W (02015.HK)$ , $NIO-SW (09866.HK)$ and $XPENG-W (09868.HK)$ opened lifting 2.5% to 3.6%, while $BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)$ opened dipping 0.2% at $240.

Gold price recorded a new high, and $ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK)$ advanced 2.8% at open. Local property stock $WHARF REIC (01997.HK)$ opened declining 2.2%.

Chinese property stocks $CHINA OVERSEAS (00688.HK)$ , $LONGFOR GROUP (00960.HK)$ and $CHINA RES LAND (01109.HK)$ elevated 0.7% to 0.8% at open. CR LAND announced a 26.7% drop in half-yearly total contracted sales.
