For techs, $BABA-SW(09988.HK)$ , $TENCENT(00700.HK)$ and $XIAOMI-W(01810.HK)$ slid 0.1%, while $JD-SW(09618.HK)$ dropped 0.3%. $NTES-S(09999.HK)$ picked up 2.1%, while chip equipment stock $ASMPT(00522.HK)$ descended 6.1% to $107.5 before its decline widened, as its interim net profit fell 49.6% to $315 million. $MEITUAN-W(03690.HK)$ opened flat at $118.1, while $BIDU-SW(09888.HK)$ and $KUAISHOU-W(01024.HK)$ opened flat at $88.25 and $44.55 each.
