Tensions in the Middle East triggered gold and oil prices to rise, $PETROCHINA (00857.HK)$ and $CNOOC (00883.HK)$ opened elevating 1.2% and 2.1%, while $ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK)$ opened inclining 1.7%.

As for tech stocks, $TENCENT (00700.HK)$ opened rising 0.3% at $376. $BABA-W (09988.HK)$ , $XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)$ and $BIDU-SW (09888.HK)$ opened incrementing 0.1% to 0.4%, $JD-SW (09618.HK)$ opened lifting 1.1%, and $MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)$ opened flat at $104. $NTES-S (09999.HK)$ opened down 0.2%.

EV stocks $LI AUTO-W (02015.HK)$ and $XPENG-W (09868.HK)$ dipped 1.1% and 1.3% at open, while $NIO-SW (09866.HK)$ added 0.7% at open.
