well what's changed is speed of information when I started back in '89 after I got my license started studying in 88 . information was highly coveted and that's really what determined the outcome of a trade was what you knew in advance because Joe public wouldn't see anything until the next day in the Wall Street journal investor's Business daily maybe the 5:00 news you had a squawk box we you know bitch box pick a name and that's where your news services came from real Time scrolling and we had guys in our office it would just sit there and stare at this thing in perpetuity they wouldn't generate shit for new accounts or trades because they're waiting for some magical news story to come out that nobody else would see that they would be able to traid on and make they're years commissions on one trade. nowadays information is no longer that rare commodity everybody has it but there is a Time differential MooMoo is about two to four minutes behind a real-time news they lag so if you're trading on the news stories that show up here you're going to lose because the smart money knows about it that much earlier than their posting it. so that's the primary difference is that the information window has compressed down two within a second or two for the best services where you literally have about a second to two second lead over somebody else to act on a news story
