I lack the ability to decipher data.
For those who know more, please advise.
Is the short sell balance ratio of 47% on 11/8 indicating that there are a lot of short sells accumulated?
Is it that there are nearly 20 million shares of short sells?
Although a lot of short sells have been placed, the decrease has not been successful and 47% remains?
By the way, the date I went in was 10/29.
The number of short sells is nearly 40 million shares, with a balance ratio of 23%.
A tremendous amount of short sells have been placed, and perhaps a fair amount of them were successful?
If that's the case, it's no wonder it's going down.
I felt like I was going to throw up 🤮
I wish I could become better at interpreting data.

Hato_Hiroshi : That's correct. It is calculated by dividing by the volume of one day. It is important to note that this is just a ratio, not a quantity, but one cannot help but have expectations.
Is that data from Moomoo?
pinoっちょ OP Hato_Hiroshi : Thank you for your reply! This was posted on the Investment Forest page .
I was researching whether the price dropped due to profit-taking causing people to leave, or if there are a bunch of short sellers still around causing the price to drop.
If it's become deserted, I thought about cutting my losses, but if there are still so many short sellers hanging around, maybe there will be enough price movement to cover not just not make a profit but fill in the losses?
I understand the opinion that being bound here is a waste of time, but I'm already at my wit's end .
pinoっちょ OP Hato_Hiroshi : As a stock market beginner, I only have stocks in Envidia, so I will take this opportunity to learn about the mechanism of short selling.
Hato_Hiroshi : I replied arrogantly, but I am also a beginner and this is a quote from the internet (laughs)
It's a forest of investment, isn't it! Thank you
ぷよぷよ〜ん : I'm also a novice, so I did some research and found it interesting once you understand the meaning. Yesterday was the first time a short selling institution failed!
pinoっちょ OP ぷよぷよ〜ん : Being able to read the data allows us to understand the situation, right? Even if it's not absolute, trends start to become visible, so it seems like there will be fewer instances of panic selling or being flustered by provocative comments (^^).
Since experts probably have many more means beyond this data, it's not possible to feel completely at ease. However, I think I'll hold onto my stocks a little longer and verify my own analysis.
Maybe I should refrain from averaging down (^o^:)
It might deepen the wound w
It would be amazing if a short squeeze were to happen!
Of course, the professionals are probably letting off steam in every way possible!
