I don't think this will be enough to stop the downward momentum.
So far, BA is up half of a percent overnight on the 24-hour charts. Who knows if the small gain will hold until open.

Your Father : Whats your target price for boeing before and after the Eps on 30th jan?
SpyderCall OP Your Father : It is hard to say. Most analysts price targets of way off anyway. The market likes to act irrationally most of the time. For that reason, I am not the type to guess a price target. I am more of a trend follower. If it's earnings, make this downtrend reverse, then I will go long. If the earnings keep this ticker on a downward path, then I will go short.
I have heard traders say this before, and it is what I practice. "Don't anticipate the market. Rather participate in the market."
SpyderCall OP Your Father : New traders would always ask me, "what is your price target?" I don't believe you can base your investments on a price target. Most of the time, they are arbitrary numbers. I rarely take price targets into account when I invest.
I mean, sometimes you will see analyst move their price targets up after any good headlines hits the news wire or if the stock is ripping. Similarly, analysts will sometimes drop their price target after bad news or if the stock is tanking.
For this reason, I don't pay much attention to target prices or analysts ratings. I just follow the trends.
