Overview of the Work
The sales clerk at a luxury brand store, Miso (Han Jiwon), has a boyfriend she promised to marry. However, they do not have enough money for a new home deposit, so at a friend's suggestion, she starts investing in stocks. As the stock prices quickly rise, Miso, feeling bold, invests her marriage fund and ends up making a big mistake. Her investment failure is discovered by her boyfriend, leading to a loss of trust, the cancellation of their engagement, and accumulating debt. On the other hand, Sonu (Hong Junghyun), who has been a NEET for a long time due to certain reasons, starts working part-time at a convenience store to reintegrate into society. One day, Miso, who visits the convenience store where Sonu works, buys a lottery ticket only to find that all of them are misses and ends up drowning her sorrows in alcohol. When Sonu tells her that "stocks are more profitable than the lottery," Miso, already upset due to her bad experience with stocks, confronts Sonu. Unable to recover from the shock of the broken engagement, Miso decides to join an online stock investment circle she found. On the first day of the study group, a group of unique members passionate about investment gathered. As they eagerly anticipated the arrival of the instructor with a luxury car parked in front of them, to their surprise, Sonu steps out of the car, leaving Miso in disbelief.
