i guess some challenges ahead would be the volatility with the china market. This is due to the quick rise in Chinese stocks following the fiscal stimulus announced during China's golden week. but due to the lack of more concrete stimulus, local corproate investors are also not fully convinced it seems, and sentiment is dying down. there might be possibly more volatility ahead for this market due to the greater interest in Chinese stocks. the challenge for traders would be knowing which direction to take. for long term investors, the challenge would be whether China policies do work in the long run.
2. presidential elections in US would be another factor causing market volatility. both trumps and Harris have different causes they fight for and I believe different industries will benefit according to who wins. though I don't see this as giving a huge impact to the stocks as ultimately, what drives the stocks wld be real actions from the president-elect. but if trump wins, perhaps the trade war with china would be worst?
3. third challenge ahead would be the sticky inflation and if it will come back affecting investors sentiments on rate cut success. I still strongly believe that fed will proceed with their rate cuts as they've announced it so boldly already and been planning for so long. but whether the sticky inflation affects investor sentiments is a different story. as they may price in future challenges with the inflation and lose confidence in the market?
4. just happy there's such a PvP competition yay thx!
