I have a portfolio like this. It started off as companies that I had bad experiences with, but has since evolved to companies that I have to deal with as a consumer... it made price gouging a little easier to swallow. Here's my list: $Atco Ltd (ACO.X.CA)$ $Air Canada (AC.CA)$ $Capital Power Corp (CPX.CA)$ $Loblaw Companies Ltd (L.CA)$ LYV aka ticketmaster $Suncor Energy Inc (SU.CA)$ $The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.CA)$ $TELUS Corp (T.CA)$
I'd also add any companies that receive government subsidies or benefit from "friendly" government policies (telecoms, airlines, o&g, etc).
