I Have Made a Big Mistake Today

Hello Mooers,

I just wanna share a little bit about my biggest mistake ever in this competition.

So today, I made a lot of mistakes in trading rules. I honestly did not follow my trading plan. This is because, I take one of the stocks that is already at a high price. I did not make any analysis for this stock. This is really wrong. What is a really dumb thing I do is purchased the stock at a high price. Mentioned that after every 15 minutes of time frame it's making a downtrend every single minute.

So, I did not follow the rules because of my ego. Luckily this is just a competition Basically this competition is very good to all traders and investors who already know and are familiar with TA and FA. It's also very good for all beginners who want to start trading before trading in the real stocks market. So here are my biggest losses today in this competition:

As you guys can see, I lost over -RM4K which is over -9% of my loss. Well that is a lesson and experience for me to not do in real trading of Stock Market or any other Financial Markets. Two powerful lessons that we can learn here to avoid the losses is:

1. How we can minimize the odds of suffering irreversible losses.

2. How we can control self-defeating behavior that keeps most investors from reaching our full potential.

Making analysis first before buying a stock. Other than that, joining this competition makes me learn new valuable lessons and experience to not make the same mistakes again and again before trade in the real trading of the market which is different because we use our own money and affect our emotions This competition is really fun for me.
