I prefer ACHR over JOBY.
I have no idea what's good about JOBY... Smart people, please tell me. How many units should be available for commercial operation to be okay? The price seems to be equivalent to a taxi.

マルセイユ : The advantages of Joby include being 100 kilometers faster than Archer's Midnight in terms of aircraft performance, being a hydrogen-powered electric VTOL, and vertically integrated as a corporate system.
Archer takes a strategy of rapid deployment through supply from various companies (production by stellantis nv). The good thing about this is that it makes it easier to pass FAA certification by sourcing from existing suppliers, but the downside is that, like stellantis nv, existing suppliers are strictly for manufacturing and not for development. In other words, in terms of development, it comes with disadvantages in the development competition because suppliers need to be engaged in development.
Joby is capable of internally producing everything within the Joby system, which means excellent capabilities for future expansion (including second-generation aircraft development). The downside is that unlike Archer, Joby does not go through existing suppliers, making FAA certification difficult. However, once this is established, Joby can establish itself as a brand, so it has pros and cons.
Already in terms of technological capabilities, Joby has the advantage, as evidenced by hydrogen electric and aircraft performance, so the winner will be determined when performance based on actual values, not just aircraft price and catalog specifications, is revealed... or so we think?
株初めて3年目 OP マルセイユ : Thank you for the detailed information! We do not take orders without outsourcing, so we have the perception of a low-cost taxi that handles internal development, mass production, and commercial operation. Although there seems to be a clear difference in performance, I think it will take a long time to become profitable, right? That's why I have become a fan of Archer, who is outsourcing. (Because it is easy to see the way once authentication and factory establishment are done)
マルセイユ 株初めて3年目 OP : When it comes to turning a profit, there may be some merit to the corporate structure like boeing...
In terms of profits, Archer's production is controlled by external parties, so it may become a low-profit business, making it reliant on sponsor companies for raising development funds. However, it seems difficult to create a market large enough for mass sales in the early stages.
They may need to create successor aircraft by upgrading Midnight similar to boeing, but relying on suppliers means that unless the overall suppliers improve their product development, it may become a bottleneck and hinder future progress.
On the other hand, Global Strategy is vertically integrated, handling everything from manufacturing to operational systems internally. Once they establish a foundation, they are likely to rise rapidly. The fact that they hold exclusive contracts in Dubai is significant. They have a market where they can securely become pioneers, engage in next-generation aircraft development, and even in a price competition with Archer, the push on the cost side is more effective due to not being dependent on suppliers compared to Archer. Therefore, I think Global Strategy has a valid point in terms of strategic management.
株初めて3年目 OP マルセイユ : Certainly, it would be a blow if production is being squeezed, depending on the market and production system. It seems like we might be overtaken by others in the future (laughs). In the case of Joby, it might be too hard until the foundation is laid, but we can expect them not to lose to other commercial operators... It will probably take time. I could promote it if they placed an order, but I feel like we are handling everything internally too much. It has its pros and cons, I hope both will grow in the 10 Free City Plans.

株初めて3年目 OP 181387862 : Maybe it's just that you haven't pushed through with the idea?
cQ_Q 株初めて3年目 OP : There are people everywhere who write things like 'Think for yourself' that are of no use. It's a block inc.
株初めて3年目 OP cQ_Q : Yes, I replied without thinking while drinking alcohol (laughs ).
By the way, if we were to switch to Jobi, it would be around 2032-2035 (focusing too much on one thing, borrowing Marseille's words, starting with the foundation). I wanted to hear the reasons for endorsing Jobi in the current situation, but I couldn't understand the intention.
マルセイユ 株初めて3年目 OP : Although belated, if you were to ask why they are pressing for Joby at present, it's because the corporate form and way of adopting strategies are reminiscent of Tesla.
The Archer aircraft may sell as a first generation aircraft, but I don't think it can beat the Joby aircraft that receives backup from Toyota with clean energy or autonomous driving when looking ahead to the second and third generations.
Well, both companies haven't started yet, so no matter which one you press, it doesn't change, but for me, I feel like I'm recommending Joby for these reasons.
株初めて3年目 OP マルセイユ : Thank you for your response.
I expect Tesla to experience a rapid increase after 4 years from its commercial launch.
Therefore, I believe that the ready-made Archer will take the lead, and then Joby will surpass them again.
I am also cautious because they have experienced a crash.
