I think it's utterly clear the trend if this year's election v market and it's reflective of many voters....unwilling to publicly display that trump will win but quietly hedging, for several weeks,into the overall trump trade. it's fair then, to say the market deep down knows it will happen AND knows it can make a lot money. as with all markets though, sometimes technicals just don't work because of the climate of the times.
the headline, personally, is somewhat deceptive as it indicates to headline readers that harris will win, contrary to most polls in the last 24 hrs. though it should be considered in fairness, that if you're only reading headlines, then you need to dig a little deeper as you may be rewarded (some may not consider it a reward of course) by the final statement of '...this year show that trump will will...'
