Ye_Ji : Hold it wait next qtr result …
DN60 : Are u a new trader? I’m open to connect :) also, advise is to just hold it out and wait it out, don’t fear-sell because once u sell u are essentially locking in the losses
Jolly he : Sell away hold the money for other strong stock. Why must be the fan of the stock. Be the fan of profit stock
Buffthestuff : we are in the beginning stages of a recession. The yield curve has been negative for 2 years. Everytime in history that's happened results in a recession once it gets back above zero. I sold my Intel at $32 Amazon reported bad numbers as well, Buffet sold Bank stocks, that was it for me. If you are still holding after the massive drop ..I would hold it you don't lose the money unless you sell the shares. This is actually a bullish move for Intel in the long run if they are truly trying to once again be relevant in the chip world. They can't do it with the high interest, high dividend, employees they don't need. etc. Elon trimmed Twitter 75% because they weren't needed. Intel trimmed $15,000 people they obviously didn't need x 40,000-100,000 per employee it sucks for them..but bullish for the company if they don't need them
Make it Big : In the earnings conference, the CEO mentioned that the company's cost is too high and margin is too low. This statement summarized the current state of the company. The initiatives to retrench 15000 staff, suspend quarterly dividend and reduce capex by 20% to reduce cost and protect cash flow are responsible ways to protect shareholders value. However, Intel needs to work harder in innovations and introducing good products without any issues to bring in more revenues in CPU (AI PC), AI accelerator (Guadi) , and chips manufacturing area. Only when Intel is able to clearly demonstrate that it is able to attract demand, sell at a higher price and with lesser resources, will it be able to flourish as the industry's leader again. All these are happening while confronting the fierce competitions from AMD, ARM, Qualcomm and TSMC and it will not happen overnight and these companies are progressing too. If you think the management actions will enable Intel to catch up or surpass the competitors, you should hold. If you think it is not possible, please cut your losses ASAP.
Space Dust Buffthestuff : I entered the market in May, primarily because of the chance of a repeat dotcom dynamic.
104346163 : Sell now this stock got no hope
