I have been mainly doing swing + day trading on margin financing and securities lending with SBI and Rakuten for about 2 years. As US stocks are expensive, margin trading is truly appreciated by beginners like me with a limited budget. When the maintenance rate reaches 50%, it's a red signal to retreat, with the main focus on maintaining 100%, but in reality, it's often around 70-80%. Thanks to this, I hardly need to add additional capital anymore. When I earn a certain amount, I convert to yen during a weak yen period and use it for living expenses. It's tough being completely self-taught as I haven't watched any margin financing and securities lending guides on YouTube. 😂
