Expendabiggles jimmy the trader OP : well I think EV makers are going to push hard over next few years to bring the car prices down even if that means govt gives rebates, etc. so if you can buy a gas Truck for 100k or an EV Truck for 40k, people may make the choice to buy the EV simply because it’s SO much cheaper even if they don’t like it as much as gas powered vehicles. I do agree the car market is prob gonna slow down some because the market is getting saturated but Trucks and SUVs are wide open for EV makers to be very competitive on price to get a customer’s business. and that’s not even mentioning fleet vehicle sales. plus Tesla in particular isn’t going away because of Optimus coming in a couple years. So the price might trade sideways until then but soon as Tesla bots get any traction, the can only grow and expand because it’s a completely new product line never seen before to consumers. this will be like the invention of the washing machine in terms of success. slow beginning but once people wrap their minds around the idea it will takeoff just like any other house hold appliance.
