IMF suggests possibility of continued interest rate hikes by Bank of Japan

International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief economist Pierre Olivier Grancha expressed recognition on the 23rd that Japan's monetary policy has room for normalization of ultra-low interest rate policies due to heightened inflation expectations, and that it is possible for the Bank of Japan to gradually raise interest rates.
