In every country, it is common knowledge that there are late payments.
When I was curious and looked it up, the average delinquency rate announced by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in April this year was 2.87%
I often hear that Americans are more optimistic about money than Japanese people, so I think I can be convinced if it's about that level.
Until now, repayments have been deferred due to COVID-19 countermeasures, so it's just that it hasn't come up in numbers.
