May kicks off with Ringgit reaching over a one-month high against the US Dollar
Entering May, the exchange rate of Ringgit shows strong stability, setting a three consecutive rise record against the US Dollar.
Ringgit has accumulated a 0.78% increase against the US Dollar since April 30, reaching a mid-to-high level of 4.733 Ringgit today. This is the highest level since April 1 (4.722 Ringgit) of this year.
With the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates, temporarily removing market instability, the exchange rate between Ringgit and the US Dollar becomes even more stable.
As of noon, the ringgit slightly narrowed its gain against the US dollar, temporarily at 4.7395 ringgit, up 0.29%.
In comparison, the ringgit against the Singapore dollar basically remained unchanged, standing at 3.500 ringgit as of noon.
