in spore unless u have excess fund n there is a need like bringing yr children to school, it is not worthwhile to own a car especially now when coe is 100k. I bot mine more than 15yrs ago when coe was below 20k n renew another 10yrs before coe start rising at abt 26k. in spore u must remember our govt hire top scholars not for nothing. they are there to introduce policy that ensure revenue keep going up. a good example is yr housing. they peg sales price to market price n not actual cost of building a flat. never in our wildest dream that a flat can cost 1m . now it seems that 1m maybe the avg price in time to come.
