India's wholesale price increase rate at a low level for the first time in 3 months

Wholesale prices in India in 2024/6 rose 2.04% from the same month last year, slowed from a 3.36% increase in the previous month, which was a high level since February last year, and fell below the 2.39% increase in market expectations.

The rate of increase in wholesale prices was the ninth consecutive term, and the pace was the most moderate since April.
