$Intel (INTC.US)$ Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) has agreed to settle all legal disputes with R2 Semiconductor, a technology group based in Palo Alto, California. Intel and R2 Semiconductor have been engaged in a patent war for nearly two years. R2 has agreed to withdraw all lawsuits between the two companies, as well as against certain Intel customers, including Dell, HPE, and Amazon's cloud computing service provider Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The chip manufacturer, based in Santa Clara, California, announced in a press release on Friday evening, "Both parties are pleased to settle the dispute according to the agreed terms." The company did not disclose the terms of settlement.
