I don't think the country called America will allow Intel to fall unless TSMC or Samsung actually becomes America's in the runner-up, or a private company or state-owned enterprise with TSMC like factories and research capabilities other than Intel appears (although there may be other possibilities). I'm only concerned about whether there is such a thing where only the foundry business will be separated.
