103759241 : I would say the same. Remember how Microsoft missed the mobile era. How AMD losed to Intel for so many years. Intel still has its edge and although the decision making had been slow, they already acknowledged the mistakes and are working towards them. I believe their situation will turn around if Trump got elected and the fabs construction is smooth.
Fluvveh OP 103759241 : Election outcome doesn’t matter for chips. Biden got the CHIPS act through and trump does tax cuts so it would just be more of the same. As for fiscal policy that’s a fed issue which the president does not influence
