He has a lot of pride, no resiliency, can’t swallow his pride. The board’s demand is unreasonable at this point, even amd found it’s very difficult to compete with Nvda given Nvda’s big lead.
Investors holding Intc already acknowledged that, they just want stable product business and at some point viable foundry business, which was probably Pat’s goal before leaving.
