  • 102362254 : Question 1 - How might potential interest rate cuts in 2024 impact investment strategies, particularly for bonds and equities?

Question 2- How will the upcoming U.S. presidential election impact market sectors?

Question 3 - What are the current inflation trends, how might they impact investments, and how can we hedge against them?

  • mr_cashcow : Welcome back again Sarge! It has been a while how is the going for u? Past few weeks the market seems to be quite volatile with big swings[undefined]

My question is judging on historical data, it seems for the month of September stocks have generally under perform. Why is that? and do u think the trend will continue again for this month?

  • Dadacai : Hi Sarge, September is historically a bad month for stocks. How does this affect bonds particularly short term bonds? Is it still a good time to load up on long term bonds in anticipation of interest rate cuts?

  • Wonder : Hihi everyone. my qn is on inflation.
Do you think this inflation will be sticky, tough to combat? What abt recession fears, seems to come n go?

  • 105312429 : hi Sarge, what is your take on the S&P 500 being over hyped, and in light of recent volatility, is it still promising in the long run, or are there any better options that we ought to consider?

  • ZnWC : Thanks for answering our questions in the previous event [undefined]

    Here are my questions:
    1. As the market is showing bearish, is the US economy entering a recession amid FED rate cut?
    2. If I have 10k USD, how should I invest in the Q4? Which sector will rally first?
    3. Any surprises do you think will affect the US stock market in Q4?

  • 010Leo : bumpy start for Sept.

having a pullback esp with nvda. many tech related funds drop. AI-related overhype? or a good opportunity to enter as seen in the quick Aug turn-around.

with rate cuts 'confirmed', tbills, fixed deposits returns are dropping. how will this affect the bond funds? shall we secure short or longer term bond fund?
