Life changes with investments.
Talking to those who have just started investing makes me remember my beginner days. Starting to invest without knowing anything was really tough at first. There was a lot to learn, and things I didn't understand kept coming up one after another. Losing money without knowing why, the losses piled up without a care. But the future of being liberated from money is only beyond that. It's unfortunate, but that's reality.
Of course, index funds are a good weapon, but ultimately, those with the ability to deposit larger amounts will see significant growth. If not, the story may be about millions or tens of millions of yen several decades later, with hope but no dreams. Unfortunately, there is not enough power to change reality.
Moving forward diligently, step by step learning and investigating each cause for improvement can change one's life. It may take years to properly accumulate each step, but that is progress, and that steady accumulation holds the potential to change one's life.
Life is a repeated process of choosing and discarding. What to take and what to discard is an individual's freedom. It's fine if there are no regrets as life progresses. If you can assert that there are no regrets, then that must be the right choice. The only thing that can be said for sure is that a life with money and a life without money are completely different. Only someone who has experienced both can say so. It was good not to give up despite losing millions of yen. If you must give up, give up grandly so as not to regret 100%.

ハップー : It's been 5 years since I started investing in stocks! Until now, I have only bought stocks with good dividends. After all, it was a side job at work, so I felt like selling when stock prices went up without getting too involved. I recently quit my job and want to somehow make a living with stocks, but it's still difficult. I'm studying by reviewing stocks from scratch.
