Investment management lesson time. Loftus Peak's actively managed ETF $LPGD hit $1 billion in funds under management and I was invited to a celebration for it. But I thought I'd share my takeaways with you.
The ETF was an early buyer of Nvidia $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$, Qualcomm $Qualcomm (QCOM.US)$ Taiwan Semiconductor $Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US)$. It also “bought the dip” when their shares fell about ~15% in April. See below.

And now many Semiconductor names shares are down about 14% in July. So, guess what investment managers will do now? They'll probably buy the dip. Some of those stocks are down more than that, such as Nvidia down 20% from its highs, so too is Qualcomm.
Below is the ETF SOXX $iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX.US)$ that is also worth a look.

If stock picking is not for you, then have a look at Loftus Peak Active ETF, which you could consider maybe as a long term position. In five years its gone up 61%.
