I recall earlier in the year I wanted to be a bit more agressive from plain causal investing. Which was why I started with selling PUTS for $Apple (AAPL.US)$ and $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ . The idea is with my new place still being constructed and expected costs. ![]()
Why not setup a trade strategy towards supporting part of the renovation costs.
Thus I picked a strike price with contract expiring in Dec 2024. Took the premium and reinvested into cash plus to gain the additional interest. (Gaining positive interest on selling PUTS premium)
As Iโve long wanted to build a 5m2 Loft. I did a bit research and realised on average it costs 10k to 20k. ![]()

โฉFastforward August. Currently gains of more than 60% with 3 more months to go. I can choose to profit take now or contine to observe and wait. With my analysis for a bullish outcome. Iโm likely to continue to wait. (Especially with time decay in my favor, Even if the stock price stagnates the option will continue to gain due to time decay๐ฐ๏ธ)
Taken the Apple option out of my renovation computation as Iโve already Rewarded myself with an early Christmas gift ๐ as I thought how nice when we trade Apple and trade for Apple Gadgets. (Maybe I can setup another goal for my Apple VisionPro ![]()

With my own key collection coming, more costs and research like ziptrack, zipblinds, curtains & many others ![]()
. Maybe I shouldnโt have splurged on the MacBook ๐ป ![]()
Need $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ to Rocket ๐ as Iโve placed quite a few eggs ๐ชบ into that basket.
