Investors are not "hoping". Investors already see the blockbuster rebound is in full swing. AMC will have nothing but profits and improved quarter over quarter from here on out.

  • Ken Griffin Charity2 : What blockbuster rebound. 2024 is on track to underperform last year. Current box office performance hasn’t been this low since 2001, and that doesn’t even take into account inflation.

  • Rusty Shackleford 1 : I agree with Ken griffin charity about this company underperforming. A lot of movie theaters are closing, and most movies you can watch at home the same day they come out. I think they will increase the number of movies that are released at home, especially because Amazon has so much money that they could pay crazy amounts of money to get the rights to all movie releases

  • Cashcauterize Rusty Shackleford 1 : Sure can, only AMAZON is a crook, you buy a movie for our own purpose to download, nice, NO, we have to then also buy AMAZONS 40 dollar download and video player, or we only get 5 min. of the movie that we paid for and now cannot have unless we buy it it is a trap they do not mention this during purchases, 40 dollars a small thing, no, the practice is wrong wrong wrong

  • Ape_King2269 OP Rusty Shackleford 1 : AMC has closed under performing theaters and opened new theater locations which are out performing the ones that were closed. Nobody wants to sit at home and stream the newest blockbuster movie. AMC is booming record food and beverage sales, record movie attendance. Q3 on pace to make over 2 billion dollars. The weekend Deadpool and Wolverine came out, over 6 million people went to AMC. Take your short and distort campaign and shove it up your A Hole.

  • Rusty Shackleford 1 Ape_King2269 OP : Who wants to pay way over 100 dollars to see a movie when you can do it at home (that obviously includes ticket price, pop, popcorn, and candy).  I could be wrong, obviously, but I would guess 5 years from now, there will barely be any theaters open.

  • Rusty Shackleford 1 Cashcauterize : I'm sorry that has been your experience but when I rent them to watch from home I have no problem at all. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are trying to say.

  • Cashcauterize Rusty Shackleford 1 : They advert a download option to the movies we buy, okay so I want to buy a R rated movie edit out all the r rated words and seens for kids, we can do that only if we have the download movie for 40 dollars if we don't buy it we only get 5 min of the movie we bought to download, editing out bad stuff for kids that can be a fun movie for them,  like the pg version of  starship troopers I am currently working on

  • Ape_King2269 OP Rusty Shackleford 1 : I pay 27 dollars a month for AMC A list membership, I can see up to three movies a week, twelve movies a month no extra cost, also get my beverage and popcorn up sized to large with no extra cost. Clown🤡

  • Rusty Shackleford 1 Ape_King2269 OP : Can you see the big blockbuster movies on opening weekends? How much is the price of popcorn pop and candy. You also have to think about people who have 3 or 4 kids.

  • Rusty Shackleford 1 Cashcauterize : I personally don't censor movies, music, or TV. Kids are going to see it somewhere, and they hear and see a lot worse at school these days. If you are worried about your kids seeing in appropriate stuff, only show them things that are rated pg to begin with
