Stock Therapy 10baggerbamm : oh believe me i took profit but im not going to “RUN!”.  youre doing that rambling thing again.  this stock is up over 80% in the last month.  of course its going to fall at some point.  crying run after 10 green days is counter-intuitive and actually irresposnible.  let it fall some more actually.  buy.  

Takias : My 2 cents (could be useless) — quantum computing technology is wayyyyyyy far from having profit generating viable commercialization, regardless of ion trap technique of producing qubits or superconductor technique. Both techniques have their own severe drawbacks at the moment, which will require billions of dollars of funding to resolve.
Reagrdless of Blackrock or Vanguard having significant holding in this company, my above stated facts are undeniable (from Physics point of view).

Going long term (rather defining your own long term) is a personal decision —- but for me, I’m sceptical to go for long hold on this stock at this moment. The current run is driven more by hype than “substance”. So, I’d rather trade short term swings whenever I enter this stock — until there’s a clear consensus on qubit formation technique.

forceful Hamster_679 OP Takias : Makes sense. However if they are securing order and started successfully delivery then definitely the upward trend is sustainable (might not be at same pace though). Any block buster stock today at some point early on gone through the same phase of uncertainty. One has to believe on the technology and take long term bet.  Else play through the hype and make short term gain. I believe most were expecting a dip after a long spell of green candles for last so many trading sessions. Probably it will rally again before the result day, touch 20 or 20+ and make a correction.
