Iran's response to the killing of Hamas leaders is still anticipated.
Richard Moore, the head of the UK's foreign intelligence agency MI6, expressed the belief that Iran is still planning a response to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in late July in Tehran. Iran claims that this incident is the responsibility of Israel.
"Iran will likely launch an attack, and if Iran attempts such actions, they may be prosecuted in that direction, so we cannot relax our vigilance," said Mr. Moore at an event in London.
This assassination event has stirred up anger across Palestine, stirring concerns about a wider regional conflict in the midst of Israel's Gaza war.
