Countries supporting Iran and Israel are referred to as "legitimate targets."

The Iranian UN mission stated on Thursday that countries providing support to Israel would be considered a "legitimate target" for Tehran.

"Our response is directed only towards the aggressors. Countries providing support to the aggressors are also considered accomplices and legitimate targets," the mission stated in a declaration.

"We advise all countries to not get involved in the conflict between the Israeli government and Iran, and to keep a distance from the strife," added the same mission.

Iran's warning came after Jordan allowed its airspace to be used to intercept missiles launched from Iran to Israel by the US Air Force.

The usa has numerous military bases in several countries in the Middle East.
