Iran vows to retaliate against Israeli aggression: Iran News Agency

Iran's ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, asserted that Iran is always prepared to confront any aggression and will retaliate against Israel's actions.

In an interview with TASS, Jalali commented on the possibility that Iran would abandon its plan to attack Israel before new cease-fire talks in Qatar regarding the situation in Gaza.

The ambassador recalled the words of Iran's spiritual leader regarding revenge for the blood shed, and emphasized that Iran's attitude shows an attitude of fulfilling promises. “There will be a response, but we don't know exactly when it will be,” Jalali said. “In any case, the Islamic Republic of Iran is always prepared to confront any aggression, and we will respond to it (Israel),” he added.

The ambassador's statement was made amid heightened tension between Iran and Israel in response to the recent assassinations of senior Hamas and Hezbollah officials who accuse Iran of blaming Israel.
