Baba has been in a 3 year drop. losing more than 80% from its high. is the drop over? well, it looks like it's forming a bottom for some time. watch if BABA can close above 78 for a short-term move up. There is just too much damage in BABA. Whatever move-up will come with alot of distrust. let's keep watch!
102559790 : chinese stocks should not go too low. Next week is Two Sessions meeting and 2024 fiscal and monetary policy should be announced. the national team has been buying up H shares and i cannot imagine national team buying perpetually. next week policy announcement should be good and the investing climate should improve and the indexes should rally without natiional team.
MonkeyGee OP 102559790 : Thank u for the info. it's very helpful. have they spent the stimulus buying the market yet?
麦克斯007 MonkeyGee OP : According to UBS report, they injected 410B yuan into onshore shares this year. But seems like HSI is not getting the love.![undefined [undefined]](https://static.moomoo.com/nnq/emoji/static/image/default/default-black.png?imageMogr2/thumbnail/36x36)
Shanghai index rose 1.91% while HSI dipped 0.15%
102559790 麦克斯007 : this created differential prices in A and H shares. Ping An Insurance is traded in China and HK market. but the price in HK market is lower by about 20%. it will be interesting next week. if China managed to announce policy that is convincing. Ping An Insurance in HK will shoot up to catch up.
MonkeyGee OP 102559790 : I don't know. I see mad amount of weakness in China's stock market.
MonkeyGee OP 麦克斯007 : if you inject that much money, you don't even get a blip. it's flat lining and 2008 event is coming. If China stock doesn't make at least 20% gain this year, then there will be another 30-50% drop. China stock market is very different than usa, free fall will be violent.
麦克斯007 MonkeyGee OP : Actually it bounced back by more than 15%, Shanghai index rose from 2365 to 3031 in 8 days.
But I believe the ultimate antidote for funds to flow back to A Shares will depend on Fed’s decision to start reducing interest rate.
