Is MSTU worth the risk and can you hold it long term?
Ive heard many experts say MSTU is only good for short term investment. also that it doesnt achieve 2x daily target on upside any more. i thought it worth sharing the year to date gain of MSTU higher is showing that it is higher than MSTR (note this is after only 3-4 months of existence vs 11 months). im also curious why MSTX daily % is higher today, but ytd performance is saying only -99% ?

RiskGame : mstx recently changed to 2x only. previously it was 1.75x.
yes, mstu is not returning 2x as promised even on a daily basis. not sure why.
there is volatility decay for sure on a longer period but daily should be close to 2x . maybe their swap didn't work
stock sniperr : Yes Mstx and Mstu can give you superb profit especially in the last few weeks since start of November. But when market is coming down, sell off immediately because you can lose your pants. Only play the leverage when you can catch the upstream in the price. Otherwise if you want to play long term just go with mstr.
HMS Victorious OP : My strategy was originally to hold MSTU long term - my thinking was it’s the fastest horse so why not ride it? So far I’ve done very well but after the latest drop im questioning my strategy. Now I think maybe use it like a pump e.g. sell at or near local peaks and transfer to MSTR and then buy back in at or near local bottoms.
HMS Victorious OP stock sniperr : Good advice I think. I notice you achieved this as you said you will sell and buy MSTR before the last big sell off. In hindsight I wish I followed your example but I’m still up 3X since I bought. Just would prefer 6X lol

JD72282267 : seems the game is to sell it's gain short term rebuy low and repeat. But eventually will go back up. people are investing elsewhere meanwhile. But it is starting to hold is ground. I have to wait to come to my price 235.
