Israel - Hamas - Palestine

Israel - Hamas - Palestine
Last weekend's early morning,
Thousands of missiles flew through the peaceful night sky in Gaza, Palestine,
destroying many facilities in the southern cities of Israel
taking away nearly a thousand lives
and leaving many internet users puzzled with three question marks [???]

Here, I will summarize the history of blood and tears between these two rivals in the past half-century and the reasons behind this conflict.
-----Chapter 1 Introduction-----

-------- Chapter 1 Introduction --------

Israel - located in the central region of the Middle East, a country dominated by Jews. Geographically, it is surrounded by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq.
It has a special relationship with the USA and possesses advanced technology and military industry.

Palestine - the neighboring country of Israel, divided into east and west. The main conflict with Israel occurs in the west.
The western part of Palestine is called Gaza, controlled by the armed organization Hamas.

Since 1948, the hostility between Israel and its neighboring countries has never ceased.
The conflict between Israel and the surrounding countries, as well as with Hamas, has always been a part of the complex situation in the Middle East.
The conflict with Hamas has been a part of the complex situation in the Middle East.
It has always been a part of the complex situation in the Middle East.
During this period, conflicts have frequently erupted, escalated, and stagnated, repeatedly.
Also resulting in many casualties and extensive damage.

The geographical locations of Palestine and Israel,
have been a crossroads of multiple ethnic groups and religious beliefs in the Middle East since ancient times.
And the core of the dispute is the so-called religious holy city of Jerusalem,
a place of significant importance for people of Jewish, Islamic, and Christian faiths.

———- Chapter 2  ———-

Recent attacks in the past years:
In the past 20 years, besides occasional artillery exchanges,
there have also been many large-scale attacks.
However, due to the huge gap in military strength,
Israel has always maintained the initiative.

Conflicts between religions:
Many Islamic countries in the Middle East,
due to historical and religious reasons,
have resulted in less harmonious relations with Israel.
Some are unofficial diplomacy, or hostile relations.

Saudi Arabia changes its attitude towards Israel:
Both countries are allies of the United States in the Middle East,
although there is no official diplomatic relations between the two countries,
but under the mediation of the United States (the US-Saudi joint defense agreement),
Saudi Arabia changed its attitude towards Israel,
Last week, Saudi Arabia promised to reduce crude oil production starting in 2024,
to prevent oil prices from spiraling out of control,
To help the United States control inflation,
in exchange for US security guarantees,
and to build civilian nuclear projects.

Since the establishment of Israel in 1948,
Saudi Arabia has never recognized Israel's international status,
and there is no official diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
Under the US-led "US-Saudi Joint Defense Agreement",
Saudi Arabia needs to recognize Israel's international status.
Once the agreement is reached,
The geopolitical landscape in the Middle East will undergo significant changes.

Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision, which it has established,
is one of the reasons for promoting Saudi Arabia's more open diplomatic relations.
After all, to develop more infrastructure,
it is necessary to establish regional political stability in the Middle East.

———- Chapter 3 ———-

The fuse of escalating conflicts:

Saudi Arabia made progress in its "US-Saudi Joint Defense Agreement" with the United States last week.
In addition, Israeli President Netanyahu presented an expansionist map of Israel (including Palestine in Israeli territory), causing Hamas to become restless.
Subsequently, they launched a surprise attack.
Besides a barrage of over a thousand missiles,
they also deployed ground forces to attack Israel.
Israel also declared a state of war and launched counterattacks on Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas launched an attack.
Israel also declared a state of war and launched counterattacks on Hamas in Gaza.
The USA has also dispatched advanced aircraft carrier groups to assist Israel.

Conclusion

The issue between Israel and Palestine,
cannot be solved overnight,
the conflict that has been maintained for decades,
very difficult to completely resolve,
although not an oil-producing country,
but every time the guns start firing,
Crude oil will rise reflexively.
As for whether there will be an oil shortage,
the possibility should be low,
after all, neither Palestine nor Israel is an oil-producing country,
the reasonable price of oil,
is in the hands of OPEC+ that can control production.
Saudi Arabia's position is,
not to let oil prices go too high.
But it can be maintained in the sweet spot of "good profit".
Undoubtedly, USD 80-95 is what they would like to see.

  • frostie83 : You missed the part where Israel has been occupying Palestine for 75 years... not to mention the current escalation was due to illegal Israeli settlers and the occupation forces attacking Muslim worshippers at the mosque sector of Al Aqsa..

Al Aqsa is compromised of 3 areas where the Jews, Christians, and Muslims have their own sector/ court where they can pray and worship in their respective sectors.

it's unfair to continuously mention Hamas as a terrorist organization when Hamas only formed after the Israeli occupation displaced the Palestinians from their land since 1948 until now.

Palestinians currently lack access to food, water, fuel, and electricity due to the Israel cutting them all off (which is not only a war crime but also a human rights violation). Due to Israel cutting off Gaza's resources, the Ministry of Health in Palestine has declared the healthcare system has completely collapsed.

Should you mention that Israel has allowed 20 humanitarian aid to come through the Rafah Crossing. It is to note that Palestine regularly gets 500 trucks coming into the country on a daily basis.

Also, despite Israel informing Palestinians to move south to avoid airstrikes; the Palestinians that managed to move south are currently being bombed and attacked regardless.

As Palestine has land and water resources, the US benefits from Israel's occupation and genocide of Palestinians by providing the means (military aid, financial aid, media and publicity) to illegally acquire Palestinian land.
