Israel's War on Gaza: Recent Events

・The Israeli military continued to attack the Gaza Strip throughout the night, and carried out heavy air raids and artillery fire on the area east of Khan Younis city where more than 75,000 people have been forced to evacuate due to ground attacks. At least 3 Palestinians, including emergency workers, are reported to have died.

・In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces clashed with Palestinians in the city of Jenin and attacked villages and towns in Hebron, Nablus, Jericho, Qalqiria, and Salfit states.

・Hezbollah in Lebanon fired rockets at northern Israel, and the Israeli military announced that about 30 shots had crossed the border, but there was no damage.

・US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the deployment of guided missile submarines to the Middle East and instructed the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to move quickly to the same region.

・US President Joe Biden told CBS News that he believes a cease-fire in Gaza is possible until the end of his term of office, and he is making efforts every day to prevent the conflict from developing into a regional conflict.
