Israel's War on Gaza: Recent Events

・On Thursday night, it was reported that at least 5 people were killed when the Israeli military bombed a vehicle in the aid convoy sponsored by the U.S.-based humanitarian aid organization Anela in southern Gaza. Israel claims it carried out the air strike after “armed men took over the vehicle at the head of the motorcade.” Anella announced that those killed were individuals “employed by a transport company.”

・The deadly attacks by the Israeli military that have occurred across Gaza in recent hours include an attack on an apartment in Jabalia Camp where 2 people, including children, died.

· The Israeli military has withdrawn from Tulkarem and its two refugee camps in the West Bank after a 48-hour operation that began a major invasion in the early hours of Wednesday. The Israeli military killed at least 18 Palestinians in the attack.

· Hezbollah has claimed at least four rocket attacks on Israeli positions along the border, but no casualties have been reported so far.

・American presidential candidate Kamala Harris has stated that too many citizens have been killed in Gaza, but if elected, she will not break with President Joe Biden's policy (including the provision of arms) against Israel.
