Israel's War on Gaza: Recent Events

・According to Wafa news agency, a young Palestinian died in an Israeli drone attack near Jenin, and the death toll from large-scale air raids on the West Bank by Israel has risen to 29.

・Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to participate in a general strike in Israel today amid growing anger over the Netanyahu administration's failure to secure the release of prisoners held in Gaza.

・US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told Israeli Foreign Minister Yoav Gallant that it is necessary to “quickly” conclude a trilateral agreement in order to bring back the remaining prisoners held by Hamas.

・According to the British Maritime Authority, another merchant ship was attacked by 2 unknown bullets off the coast of Yemen, but there were no casualties on board.
