Israel shrinks “humanitarian zone” in Gaza

The Israeli military began bombardment and air strikes on eastern Can Yunis immediately after demanding the eviction of residents from the area previously designated as a humanitarian zone.

Most of the residents in this enclave are refugees and are in desperate need of shelter and food. As the “safe zone” is being narrowed by Israeli bombardment, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure safety.
